Bluesfest

Last night we saw Tab Benoit play at Bluesfest. What a great performance! Then there is the bonus. I spoke with him for a few minutes. The guy is nice and really plugged into wetlands preservation for Louisiana. We talked about the Spike Lee documentary - When the Levees Broke. He is most closely involved with the IMAX coming out called - Hurricane on the Bayou. The film won't hit theatres worldwide until December. I will definitly go to see it. It took us two different nights to get through - When the Levees Broke- because it is so long and just pretty heartbreaking. The devastation is beyond anything I could ever have imagined and the work that still needs to be done is huge. Seeing Tab play right after getting through that documentary was very healing. It gave us hope.
