The Love Curse of the Rumbaughs

Yesterday I finished reading the new Jack Gantos book - The Love Curse of the Rumbaughs. It was this twisted little tale of taxidermy, identity and unrequited love in the small town world of the Rumbaugh family. It was a weird story but I liked it. It was a mix of the whole love-for-Mom-gone -overboard thing from Psycho paired with the charming innocence of one little girl like Davita's Harp from Chaim Potak? Readers who like a little of the strange, gothic and Hitchcock humor will go for this.
